We were very lucky with the weather today and everyone competed with enthusiasm during our Athletic Day. Well done to everyone. There were some great performances but also a lot of encouragement and support of others. A huge thank you to all Room 7 who were amazing helpers to me this morning and this afternoon setting up and putting away all the equipment. You are all a pleasure to work with and you made my job so much easier today.
This week we also got across to South Otago High School for some more athletics. We played a fantastic new game called Multi Sport which the children loved.
We also did some PAT reading testing and will continue with maths next week.
Thank you to all parents who have returned permission/medical slips for camp. These are now due. A camp meeting will take place on Wednesday 5pm - please note the change of time.
Well done, Room 7 - you showed great sportsmanship yesterday and put in a real effort with the athletics. I can't wait to learn how to play multisport! Also a huge thank you to Mrs O for organising the athletics day so capably. It ran like clockwork!
